Register
Download the Healsens App from either Google Play or the App Store, depending on your device, and create your account. After registration, you’ll gain access to your personal dashboard, where you can choose tests and track your results.

Choose the tests you need
Select the laboratory tests you would like to take. We also recommend looking at the Healsens Checkup plan: a convenient way to monitor your health regularly and in a more structured way.
With Healsens, you can also create your own checkup plan or choose individual tests from the “Order blood tests” catalog.

Receive your test kit
After placing your order, we will send a blood collection kit and laboratory form to the address you provided. The kit contains the materials needed for blood collection and safe transportation of your samples.
Before using the kit, carefully check your details so the test can be processed correctly.

Schedule your blood draw
You will receive an email with information about the nearest blood draw location — usually no more than 10 minutes from your home address. To complete your blood test in the Netherlands, schedule your blood draw by phone or via the form mentioned in the email.
Bring your laboratory form, test kit, and ID to the appointment. A qualified professional will collect your blood and fill the correct tubes from your kit.

Send your test kit
After your blood samples have been collected, place the tubes and laboratory form in the special return envelope from your kit. Then put the closed envelope into an orange PostNL mailbox.
The medical postal system in the Netherlands is reliable. If you follow the instructions carefully, the samples will be delivered to the laboratory quickly and safely.
Important: send the envelope as medical post — without registration, without Track & Trace, and without processing it as a parcel. Do not hand the envelope to a PostNL employee as pakketpost, and do not create a Track & Trace shipment. If you do, the envelope may be processed through a different route, which can delay delivery.
Pay attention to the temperature: if it is very warm outside — above 25°C — or very cold — below 2°C — it is better to place the envelope in the mailbag inside a PostNL point. This helps protect the samples from extreme temperatures.

Receive your results
The results of your blood test via Healsens will appear directly in the app. Turn on notifications so you do not miss them. You will also receive a copy of your results by email. In most cases, laboratory data becomes available within a few days, with a maximum of 10 working days.
In the app, you will also receive trend visualizations and lifestyle insights. This information can help you build healthier habits, but it does not replace medical advice from a doctor. You can also use the support of coaches, therapists, and health specialists who work with Healsens.
